The founding partner of Hospitality Advisors, Roland is a twenty-five-year veteran of the hospitality industry.
Hospitality Advisors is a focused boutique firm that targets high quality engagements in the company's areas of expertise - advisory, asset & hotel management, and acquisition/disposition of properties. It provides real estate owners and entrepreneurs with an alternate source of advice and direct connection to an extensive and diverse network of professionals capable of assisting and advising on concept definition, branding, management, and underwriting for acquisition or disposition. Roland joined HotelAVE, a prominent Asset Management company operating in North America and now expanding in Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America where he will lead business development and directly support the practice. Roland was also a vice President for several international hotel companies including Renaissance Hotels and recently Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group (Regent, Radisson Blu, Country, and Park Inn) spearheading all development activities including asset acquisition, structuring of franchise and management agreements, interacting with brands, and negotiating legal matters to finalize the various agreements.
He successfully spearheaded complex acquisitions of upscale properties in the Bahamas, St Martin, Jamaica, DR as well as in the luxury segment (Regent) in Turks & Caicos and Puerto Rico. His experience extends beyond the Caribbean to Latin America where he facilitated the negotiations of various partners' agreements in Brazil and Mexico, and large ground up development projects such as the Renaissance in Sao Paulo and JW Marriott in Rio de Janeiro.
Prior to his activities in Latin America, he was head of development for Renaissance Hotels in Europe (EMEA) where he successfully contributed to the expansion of the company prior to its purchase by Marriott International.
Roland is a regular speaker and moderator at regional and international conferences, and has been quoted numerous times in industry magazines and newspapers.
Roberto, Managing Partner of Hospitality Advisors, brings a substantial background in real estate & hospitality development, construction and design/land planning.
He recently joined Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) and brings to the Real estate brokerage arena a vast knowledge of 30+ years of experience as a real estate developer, business owner, entrepreneur, and as a startup investor in several areas including technology, manufacturing, and construction systems. At CBC, Roberto has established a "hotel centric practice" focused on delivering expert advise and guidance for hotel owner and investors.
Roberto is the founder and owner of the La Rocca Group, a real estate development company that initiated its business in Venezuela. During his successful career, Roberto designed, financed and built many well-known buildings including the following: Radisson Blu Caracas, GlobalSigmakit, Club Residencial Hacienda Santa Ines, Royal Palm Luxury Homes, Torre Fondo Comun El Rosal, Banesco Tower. Roberto also led complex negotiations with landlords, cities, banks, Nasdaq 500 corporations, and global hotel brands.
He is the former owner and manager/director of the WTC Caracas, Venezuela.
Roberto is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
Notable projects John has been involved with include Elegant Boutique Hotels in Barbados where he served as COO and The Mutiny Hotel in Miami, FL where he served as general manager. He was also Vice President of development, logistics, and planning for the Leash & Mackenzie Group, a construction company focused on the restoration and refurbishment of hotels and resorts throughout Florida and the Caribbean.
Since 2008, Rick has been providing professional hospitality consulting services to clients in Miami, Miami Beach, Orlando, Bahamas, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Mexico. He has held executive positions with Omni Hotels and Radisson Hotels Latin America, since the beginning of his Revenue Management career in 1995. From strategic planning to innovative solutions, his focus is always on building an efficient and results-driven relationship. He’ll work with you to create a customized plan of action for your hotel property, condo/hotel, or hotel group.
Piro is a 25+ years veteran of the hospitality industry with strong skills in sales and electronic distribution. After founding and operating a travel agency for many years, Piro joined Pegassus and was responsible to grow its business in Latin America. He later used his negotiating skills in business development with several international company such as World Hotels, Radisson and Best Western. He is currently providing expert advise in sales, marketing and connectivity technology (internet sites, GDS and electronic distribution, optimization and consortias)
Giovanni is a hands-on multilingual Hotelier with strong personality and interpersonal skills. He successfully managed many renown hotels, always meeting and exceeding targets and objectives. His career took him to Panama where he managed the Intercontinental Miramar, to Mexico at the Hyatt and Fiesta Americana Cancun and in Merida at the Intercontinental. For the last 11 years, he has been a Hotel Manager aboard Royal Caribbean.
A successful independent entrepreneur, Klaus was director of hotel operations for Marriott in Peru, then with Holiday Inns as Director of Development & Franchise relation and promoted to Senior Vice President Latin-American & Caribbean, responsibly for over 73 hotels. Today, Interamerican Promo Hotels operates in Latin-America and the Caribbean and is owner of the Eco Inn brand in Peru. Current portfolio consist of 11 properties.
Jose is the President & Owner of Victoria Porcelain Corp. (U.S.A.), a company he started to access the USA market, Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean for products geared to the Hotel and Institutional Industry. Today Victoria is known all over the world in the Hospitality and Dinnerware Industry. At the present time, Victoria Porcelain is one of the few companies able to decorate "in glaze" Porcelain in the USA. Victoria also boasts an additional production facility in Spain as well as implants with manufacturer in Spain, Turkey and Portugal.
Manuel has over 20 years of experience in day to day Hotels and Restaurants Operations, and Global Real Estate & Hotel development. He is an expert in Planning, Engineering, and Construction of new projects and has extensive experience in structuring Financing. He has substantial knowledge of the hotel and real estate industries in Mexico, Central and South America and is currently the CEO of Aspen Partners & Co, a US$20 billion real estate fund located in Queretaro, Mexico.
Hospitality executive with 35 years of international leadership. Experience includes hotel operations, marketing, financial management and business development in USA, Europe and Middle East. Mark is an operations expert with strong asset management skills. He held several hotel executive positions such as GM with Marriott Hotels, VP & GM Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Group Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management Kuwait Hotels Company.

Monique has a long experience with the cruise line industry for having directed for approximately 10 years the money side of each casino: the cashiers, the money, the accounting of the on-board casino business. This accounting and human resource function involved training and scheduling the cashier staff on each cruise ship (30+) as well as reviewing all aspects of design, layout and functionality of the space aboard each new cruise ship prior to its launch in operation.
Today, Monique is responsible for maintaining and administering the administrative function of Hospitality Advisors including communication, documentation of deals, record keeping and client relationship.
A graduate of New York University in Economics with a minor in politics and business (Stern) Alek is currently enrolled in a Master program at the University of Maryland in Applied Economics.
Over the last 4 years, Alek has provided support to Hospitality Advisors in all areas of social media, communication and technology.
Recently, Alek has been involved in providing economic analysis and market research for all aspects of investment and real estate focusing on market feasibility, customer evaluation and best & highest use for asset valuation and re-positioning.
Kyle is also a graduate of New York University in Economics, minor in politics and business from Stern. He is now enrolled in a Master program at the University of Maryland in Applied Economics.
Kyle has also been involved in providing assistance to HA in all aspects of social media, communication and technology.
Starting in 2020, Kyle has been delivering assistance with economic reviews and market feasibility for investment focusing on location, customer evaluation and best & highest use for hospitality assets both in Florida and the greater Caribbean.
